Hi, I’m Sarah Whitney and I’m seventeen years old. I live in a small county town in the Midlands UK called Shrewsbury. I’ve lived here all my life and absolutely love it. I have been studying beauty therapy for the past year and have become a qualified beauty therapist but singing has always been my dream.
Like many others, music and singing was a part of my life from a very young age. i was brought up on a number of artists of the time including Abba, Beverley Craven and many more. I’ve always used singing as a way to express my feelings and thoughts and i love to write my own lyrics as each song I write has a special meaning to me or reminds me of a certain time in my life.
I was brought up surrounded by music as my mum was always playing records (and is a keen singer herself) and my dad plays the piano and guitar so i have them to thank for my musical upbringing.
I’m your typical girlie girl who loves watching romantic comedies like Bridget Jones Diary and Just Married, but I do like a few horrors including Jeepers Creepers and my all time favourite Ghost Ship. I have to say when it comes to T.V I’m guilty of watching all the much loved soaps including Coronation Street, Eastenders and Hollyoaks.
My favourite place in the world is America. I’d love to go there again as the people are so nice and the food is so good plus they have the best rides in their theme parks.
